The goal of The Art of Living is educational and humanitarian. Founded in 1981 by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, its work in more than 150 countries is focused on stress management and service initiatives for the welfare of society.

The Foundation offers a series of courses and activities to reduce tension through powerful breathing techniques, meditation and yoga. These programs have helped millions of people overcome unwanted habits, depression, and negative emotions.
