Emilia Diaz is a dedicated, loving, and passionate Equine Therapist and Clinical Psychologist who is providing therapeutic services free of charge to underprivileged special needs children and traumatized members in her community, and her work is truly life-changing. The funds raised will be used to cover the cost of sessions for a whole year for two of the children (Elizabeth and Adam) currently needing therapy.
Since she was very young she always had a passion for horses, but it wasn’t until after living in Vietnam, South East Asia in 2012, and experiencing the emotional, cognitive, social and physical impairments of toddlers, adolescents, and elders as a consequence of the war that she was touched and decided to dedicate herself to the world of service.
Shortly after arriving back to her country of origin (Dominican Republic) she started studying clinical psychology and discovered what Equine Therapy and Equine Assisted Activities could do for the benefit of others wellbeing. Later on, she came along PATH International, and traveled to become a Certified Equine Therapy instructor to Dallas, TX and Santa Barbara, CA, and she uses her knowledge daily to make contributions in her community, that are serving those who need it most.
Please join me in contributing to her continuing her much-needed work
