The Wellness Architect
My passion is that you begin to experience Well-being in all your spaces.
All spaces are under scrutiny looking for effective solutions that help us in infection control.
We cannot forget that we are human beings and our nature is to connect with others. Social isolation is among the causes of premature death such as smoking and sedentary lifestyle.
The well-designed space is more important than ever, to respond to the needs of security and protection, but also to aesthetics.
When the pressure increases, tolerance decreases and we have all been challenged.
Organizational well-being depends on individual well-being, on positive experience within the space.
Our spaces cannot become war zones filled with danger signs, sanitizer entrances, spray chambers, alerts and protocols.
The message it conveys is, "it is not safe to leave home", | "the work space has become a minefield", I better not go !, far from the message I really want to say.
It is necessary to understand that we have become the generation of quarantine, that of COVID-19, which forever changed the known.
As leaders we must reinforce the mental health of our work teams and design spaces for the 21st CENTURY generation or THE PANDEMIC GENERATION.
There is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL solution and adding Neurodiversity to the workforce and its particularities, we have a great design exercise, the challenge of the 21st century.
This is the first document in a series where I will discuss design strategies to promote wellness and health within workspaces.
I want you to live well-being in all your spaces
